Batman was just the best boy. He loved everyone and everyone loved him back. ♥
He was so loyal to his family, and he loved to be snuggled up next to someone while they pet him.
Batman was truly the most patient dog. He was gentle, he absolutely adored our kids, and he had a very special bond with his human sister, Rae.
We will love him forever and we feel so lucky that he was ours for 13.5 years. ♥

Our sweet, precious boy, Nielsen, crossed the rainbow bridge on January 5th.

There are a million pictures that we could post, and a novel that we could write here, but the wound is still too fresh and our hearts are absolutely shattered.

To the world he may have been just a dog, but to us he was our entire world. From the second we opened our eyes in the morning, our lives revolved around him. Nothing will ever be the same.

He had the pleasure of greeting many a tourist working on boat tours with his Dad, something he dearly loved doing, but it is time to hang up his handkerchief and leash.

His passing was sudden but peaceful in the end. We held him in our arms and told him how loved he was until he closed his eyes and took his very last breath. We are so grateful for the 9 wonderful years that we got to share with him, but forever would never have been long enough.

Love you with all the world, our sweet dog.

Boomer was an escape artist in his younger years. From opening doors to gain freedom or climbing fences to escape from yards or dog parks. He certainly had a travelers spirt and a lot of independence. Some of the fondest memories are of me and him travelling down some highway with him sitting in the front seat having a chat, or the smile he’d put on ppls faces when he would be hanging out the window howling at ppl on sidewalk. He was the best copilot/coworker one could ever ask for. I’ll miss him on cold winter nights when he’d snuggle up in the bunk of the truck. I’ll even miss his wake up calls on chilly mornings when he’d put the windows down and freeze me out because it was his walk time.

Every moment with Willow was an adventure that we will forever treasure. Some of our favourite memories include going for rides in the Jeep, the many trips around the bay to see her favourite people and playing hide and seek with her around the house. Willow brought a smile (and a wet kiss) to everyone who met her and made our hearts so full. She will be forever loved beyond measure.
