In Loving Memory of Coxn
Our Beautiful Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

Coxn lovingly known as Wheatie, Poo Bear, Weed, Houwheatie, and Chewbacca was truly one of a kind. For 12½ years, she was our shadow, our comfort, and our constant companion.

If the truck left the driveway, she was already in the back seat , window down, rain or shine never left behind. With her daddy, she was “Bonnie and Clyde,” inseparable partners in every truck ride adventure. The road was her happy place.

She was blessed with many vacations and adventures, always right by our side. Beaches, long drives, and new places to explore wherever we went, she went. She wasn’t just our dog; she was part of every memory we made.

A terrier at heart full of spirit, curiosity, and energy she also carried the gentlest, most tender soul. She loved with a kindness that felt heaven-sent and taught us more about loyalty, patience, and unconditional love than words could ever express.

She walked beside us through every season the highs, the heartbreak, the rebuilding, and the tears — steady and faithful through it all.

Letting her go broke our hearts, but loving her was the greatest gift of our lives.

Somewhere between forever and goodbye, she remains forever engraved in our hearts.

We hope heaven has endless open roads, squirrels to chase, and plenty of bacon treats waiting for you.

Jessie James came into our family and the one who started the “pack” back in 2010.
The way he hopped like a bunny with excitement when it was time to go for car rides always makes me smile. He loved going to the cabin and exploring his surroundings.
His favourite thing was cuddling up with me while we watched tv and having a relaxing time.
You blessed our family for 16 loving years. Jessie, you will always be missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

There are too many favorite memories. She was our only baby. She ruled the house. She was spoiled rotten. Her dad would torment her and she would grunt at him – that was always funny. Her mom will forever miss her kisses and cuddles.

Least favourite thing: people. She hated having guests, and she showed them in no uncertain terms that this was her house, and this is her spot on the couch, and you don’t get to sit there
Friends: She loved when her cousin Tyson would come visit. He would rub her belly and give her treats

She ever so gently sniffed the babies when we brought them home.
She moved 9 times, eventually finally getting the house with the big fenced yard.

She ran and hiked all over – along the trails, woods and beaches, often while reluctantly wearing boots or doggie snowpants.
She often fell asleep sitting up while waiting for a slow motion nibble of our last bite.

She is somewhere in the background in the majority of our camera roll.
She was unconditional love during the hard years of loss & infertility.
She loved being chased when it was time to come inside and refused to be bribed, she was as stubborn as they come.

She loved spending early mornings outdoors sleeping under the rising sun, avoiding the commotion of mornings with two noisy kids.
She loved her pink elephant stuffy, it was her sweet (but disgusting) baby she carried up to bed every night.
She loved tormenting her best buds, Remi and Birdie, right up to her last morning with us.
But most of all, she loved us, and we loved her, so much. 13 years of the best friend a girl could wish for.

Our favourite memories of Maggie are her sitting on the corner of our lawn waiting for people to walk out the road and speak to her. She was so gentle and kind. She would lay on my feet when I was sitting down. She wasn’t just a dog. She was my best friend and a big part of our family. She will be missed forever

Paula’s favourite memory was when he was brand new to home and laying down staring up at her getting rubs with love in his eyes. Adrian’s favourite memory is Benny and him falling asleep in the backyard after a long day of squirrel watching, and his little growl and noise waking him up in the morning. ( his cold wet nose waking him up lol ) Adriane’s favourite memory is all the time he would cuddle right into her chest and sigh in happiness like there was no where else he would rather be. Julia’s favourite memory is putting “casts” on him and pretending to be his vet. There’s a million and one more.

Lexi was the most gentle and well mannered girl, She was such a quiet pup and so loving to everyone. Lexi was more than just our family pet, she was our peace, our comfort, our baby girl. She knew how to make anyone laugh or smile and was just a goofball all the time. Lexi loved to hang out with her siblings and give them all of her love and attention. Her person was Karsen, wherever he was she wanted to be next to him. She loved to go to the cabin and was always excited for car rides, especially if a trip to tim hortons for her timbit was on the agenda. She was such a special part of our family and she has left a void that will never be able to be filled. We love you baby girl and someday I pray we will meet again.

Our sweet beloved Banner passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Jan 29. 2026.

Banner was born on October 15, 2013 which we fell in love with at first sight.

For 13 beautiful years, you were a part of our lives, filling our days with joy, comfort, laughter, and silent strength. Banner was a gentle giant, who’s sweet face and big eyes made you fall in love every-time you looked at him. Banner always had the biggest tail wags to welcome you back home that brought the biggest smile on our faces.

The quiet that fills the house now is deafening, a constant reminder that you’re no longer here. I can’t seem to grasp the fact that we will no longer wake up hearing the sound of the paws walking through the house and making your way to your spot on the couch or to jump up on mom and dad’s bed for a big drooly nap. We will miss the way you loved and protected your little buddy Maverick and all the kisses you gave us. But most definitely we will miss how your big, bellowing snores filled the house. You were the heart of our home.

We hope you’re running around the harbour, chasing rabbits and enjoying all your favourite smells. But more than anything, we hope you know just how deeply you are missed. You were our Ban Ban, our family, our home. The love we all have for you will never fade, and neither will the memories of the happiness you brought into our lives.

Losing you has changed us forever, because loving you changed us forever too. You made us better, kinder, and fuller.
