Sebastian would always stand on his hind legs to watch me leave for work through the window. Once I was out of sight, he would run as fast as his little legs could take him to the back deck where I would wait for him and give him chin scratches. When I’d get home later, he’d always settle himself in my arms for as long as he and I both wanted for all the snuggles. My home and my heart feel a lot emptier these days. If love alone could have kept him going, he would have lived forever! I love you, my little man.

She didn’t like to be touched by many, and when she did let them, it was on her terms! Boy, wasn’t she picky about her human buddies!
We couldn’t say “Tim’s,” “McDonald’s,” or “Nan” without her whining and barking until we opened the door to go. She even ran into a door once, too excited, as she knew she was going in the car.
She was well-behaved; never did we ever have to put her on a leash out in the garden; she wasn’t going anywhere.

I could go on and on! We have too many funny and happy memories to choose just one. She made our little family whole!

Some people believe the deep connection we feel with our pets is because their souls were always meant to be close to ours. Even if they didn’t come into our lives in human form, they still found their way to us in this lifetime — simply to love and be loved.

We miss you, Mya, and always will. One of the best decisions I made was choosing you.

Oliver never meowed he used to grunt, we used to have conversations and I asked him would he like cheese or cream cheese and he would grunt which meant yes. He would never get into trouble, he was a good boy. He was my baby, I spoiled him rotten, he was my shadow, and I will love and miss him forever

Her silliness and joy! The way she’d do a little stomp and gruff when she wanted something. How she got mad whenever anyone hugged me. I was the only human she reserved her very selected kisses for, and the only human who could give them. burying my face in her fur. Her gentle soul and spirit.

Prinny was the best girlie. She loved napping on the couch and going for walks that mostly consisted of sniffing everything rather than actually walking anywhere. She was quiet and calm, only barking if someone was at the door or if there was a dog on TV.

She loved her people, belly rubs, and being close to the ones she trusted. We adopted her while volunteering at the SPCA and fell in love with her awkward silliness almost immediately. She was a nervous girl who had a rough start in life, but over the years she blossomed into the sweetest, most loving companion. Still awkward, but so full of love.

She was the perfect fit for our home, and losing her leaves a space that can never truly be filled. We will miss her forever.

Andy was the best doggie in the world. He was also the best therapist and saviour to my mom when she needed him the most.

Andy loved his sister, Lucy very much and she loved him even more. Lucy loved dressing Andy up in bows, bracelets, bandaids and headbands! He didn’t mind at all and would wear whatever she wanted him to. He would even play vet with her, even though he hated the vets office!! Lucy also loves sharing her stuffies with her brother and would even let him snuggle with her most favourite one, Fuzzy.

There was a time , when Lucy was little, when the only thing that would calm her down was being placed in Andy’s dog bed. As soon as she would lay down in his bed she would stop crying and settle down.

When my mom’s husband passed away January 2024 Andy went to live with her to help her through the tough time. He was still with her when my grandmother passed away August 2025. Andy helped her get through the worst of times. He was a great listener and only required food, walks and lots of love as payment for his services! Andy ate better than anyone I know! Mom would cook all of his meals, which included salmon, chicken, cod, lamb, moose and steak! He was so fancy!! He also had four beds and numerous blankets!

Andy had the softest ears, which I told him from
the moment we welcomed him into our home! They were the best!!

We miss Andy and all of his fur so much. Until we meet again buddy xoxo

Yoshi was only with us for 21mths due to a genetic condition called Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Small Intestinal Dysbiosis. She was a very sick little dog from age 8mths but it didn’t stop her and we gave her as much enrichment as we possibly could, even though we knew we wouldn’t have her for long. She walked, hiked, competed in rally obedience, loved training, and going for truck rides but her absolute favourite thing was digging. We’d go to sunshine park or middle cove and she’d dig dig dig, and while doing it she’d make the loudest screeches – it was hilarious. The thing I’ll cherish most about her was the way she pressed her head on me and the way she’d tilt her head when you spoke to her. She was such a funny character. We’ll miss her always.
