Yoshi was only with us for 21mths due to a genetic condition called Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Small Intestinal Dysbiosis. She was a very sick little dog from age 8mths but it didn’t stop her and we gave her as much enrichment as we possibly could, even though we knew we wouldn’t have her for long. She walked, hiked, competed in rally obedience, loved training, and going for truck rides but her absolute favourite thing was digging. We’d go to sunshine park or middle cove and she’d dig dig dig, and while doing it she’d make the loudest screeches – it was hilarious. The thing I’ll cherish most about her was the way she pressed her head on me and the way she’d tilt her head when you spoke to her. She was such a funny character. We’ll miss her always.
