On Saturday , February 21st just as the snow started, we said goodbye to our little boy , Jeffrey , after a long , brave battle with heart disease.

Oh jeffy, the youngest of the trio, the baby. The little black floof that chose us.
A lanky little fuzzy boy, with springs in your legs. The best little muppet face featuring just one snaggle tooth.

You were such a foolish little critter with lots of quirks and a bark that could shatter glass. The only “toys” you loved were cotton balls from the craft section.. or a cherry tomato. A love for all fuzzy blankets and cozy spots. You hated any weather that wasn’t 20 plus with sun. You wouldn’t dare to walk on wet grass.

In your younger years , when Winny had another litter , you were such a hands on big brother. Built in babysitter for Winny.
When we found out Meadow was on the way, you slept against my belly every night. Once we brought her home you stayed close by, always checking on her and getting up with me for every night feeding.

In your final days we made sure you had the best time. You got to see all your favorite people, eat all your favorite foods, extra car rides and cozy cuddles.

I got to see you come into this world and take your first breath, and when it was time, I saw you take your last , in your dads arms, in your home, all cozy.

I wish we could start over Jeffaroo, 13 years was not nearly enough. No amount of time would ever be. Such a special boy.

I hope Winny (Fortune) was there to meet you at the rainbow bridge, with your brothers and sisters. You were never the same after we lost her.
I hope you are together again eating all the pizza and cheesy bread, lying in the warm sun.

Willy is certainly missing you. He’s never been an only dog, but we are helping him through.

We love you Jeffy. We miss you beyond words. There will never be another you.

When the turkey platter cracked and Ziggy enjoyed a turkey juice shower and feast for a while before we found her. She needed so many baths but she was so very, very happy.
Being so itty, bitty as a puppy and being so nervous of everything.
Always loving adventure trails and hikes!
Going to the cabin and sleeping in the bed with Mommy (and, Spork and Thor… no room for daddy).
Going to the lumber yard with Grandpa Harvey.
When we went camping and she just went in the tent and stayed there.
Being able to do some impressive clean jumps on counters, snow piles, etc.
Being chief of security and keeping Spork and Thor in line.
Tolerating mommy’s many outfits and costumes with only minimal hatred.
So so so many more. You made our lives so very full, my sweet girl.
You were my first puppy. You are the absolute best girl. You made me a dog mom and taught me so much. I miss you intensely. Love you xoxo

Waking up with her beside me. Asking for treats and picking out the jar with her favourite one in it. Wanting Belly Rubs Over And Over. Getting in her chair and lifting her paw for these rubs. She had certain people for different things. When people came to her home some she asked for a cookie and some belly rubs. Camping she absolutely loved. Where she would go swimming for sticks and by the campfire. Listening to every word you were saying (because if you said car or going up back, she was ready to go). Our Beautiful Girl will be missed so much. Love You Forever Baby Girl

We loved chasing her around the house, almost like we were playing tag. She also loved to play hide and seek. Every year we loved watching her play with the ornaments on our Christmas tree. We also enjoyed dressing her up for Halloween. Sitting outside in the sun with her was so relaxing.

She loved her brother Rickey, she would chew his eye brows off. Lol. She always layed on her Moms (Darla) lap when ever she sat down. She loved her belly rubbed.
She would avoid her Dad (Dennis) at times because he tormented her, but she loved him anyways.
She would lay on her back with 4 paws up, we knew we were getting bad weather.
Bubbles would stand on her hind paws.
When I was smoothing her down she would wrap her paws around my hand and lick me.
I put her on her back to do her talons.
