Oscar was a rescue who came to me at 3 months old. He was the sweetest boy but afraid of everything. He became my sidekick, we went everywhere together. He was my running buddy, loved snowshoe adventures, and our daily walks. He was a gentle giant and will be missed by many.

Jed was my beautiful boy. It’s so hard to believe he is not with me here tonight. He passed in my arms last night. At 17.5 years old his little body was so tired. But we are so blessed to have had him for so long. He had the perfect life. Travelling across Canada, rides on the skidoo, side x side, quad. Then there was the hiking on the east coast trail, hiking Signal Hill, Bowring Park to chase the ducks and test his balance on the ballards. He watched Lindsay Head play many games of ball. Jed hated beagles but ended up with Louie his best friend…a beagle. The Cabin life is what he loved just like his Dad, Brian Head.
Jed had liver disease since he was born and so he had to live on a low protein diet. He was later diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2022 and has been on 3 different meds ever since. Living this long with CHF is not often seen but my little guy defeated the odds.
My boy I hope you stopped and looked back just once as you made your way across that bridge, then I hope your tail went up and is wagging as all your family greeted you. Take good care of him
