Ruby was full of life and energy especially in her young puppy days. She loved going on hikes on the trails or in the woods and jumping in every pond and bog hole along the way. She was a lovable dog with a heart of gold. She literally wouldn’t even hurt a bug. We spent may hour playing fetch in the backyard and the ponds. We love and miss you always Miss Ruby

Archie loved nothing more than his little outdoor adventures with his mom. The moment the door opened, he’d trot out proudly, tail high and eyes bright, ready to explore his kingdom. He’d find the perfect sunny patch, stretch out luxuriously, and soak up the warmth like it was made just for him. Between naps, he’d wander over to his favorite trees, sharpening his claws with great enthusiasm before flopping down again in the grass. Those sunny days outside were his happiest moments — just Archie, his mom, and the simple joy of sunshine and fresh air.

Our favourite memory is the first day we brought her home. A friend of ours owned her for the first 6 years, but due to working a lot, Bella was left alone for hours, so they figured it was no life for a sweet little girl. We were asked to adopt her, and with some hesitation, we decided to bring her home. My wife and my father went to pick her up out of town, put her in a cage to bring her home. She was barking and whining until they got back on the highway, where she fell asleep. When I got home from work that day, she was understandably shy and scared. But that night she got up on the bed with me and Kim, and she seemed so content. She was getting used to us. We had a few mishaps but aside from that, she warmed up to us quickly; even her groomer couldn’t believe how she trusted us so soon.

Zephyr was adopted into our family when he was 7 months old. He was the sweetest, most gentle boy and was also quite comical and clumsy, and bumped his head a lot while being silly. He drove us mad with his barking at everything that moved outside our window, but he was fiercely loyal and once you won his trust, which wasn’t easy, he was attached to you always. He hated to be parted from his Husky brother, Nanook, even to go outside to pee. Zep would stand in the door waiting for Nanook until he agreed to join him outside. He was extremely cuddly and loved nothing more than being close to you. If you were petting him and stopped, he would paw at your hand until you continued. He was so sweet and special, and will always be missed. Keep your brother company, Zep, until we meet again. We love you sweet boy

Nanook was a 2 year old rescue who captured our heart from the second we saw him. There was no doubt in our minds that he would become part of our family from that day on. He was the sweetest soul you’d ever meet and he loved everyone, whether he knew you or it was his first time ever meeting you. If he went more than a day or so without going for a ride in the car he, would stand and stare at you until you gave in and took him for a ride. He loved ice cream and would insist on having his own if that was what we were having. He had a way of communicating what he wanted by just looking you in the eye. Nanook never ever barked but he was a talker and he would greet you this way when you got up in the morning or if you were coming home. He was so gentle and everyone that met him fell in love with his gentleness. He was a beautiful soul that will be missed for the rest of our days. We love you sweet boy. Take care of Zephyr for us until we meet again
