Not long after I adopted Leonard, I woke up around 4am. I tossed and turned, but I never could get back to sleep, so I threw on some old clothes and we went hiking. We were the only two souls around for miles and the dawn turned the whole world into gold. I remember the way Leonard’s coat shone in the sun, and with all the beauty around us, he watched me like I had hung the sun especially for him. It was the perfect morning. Truly perfect.

Whenever you were sitting on the couch, he would come over and ask to be picked up. He wanted to be scooped and would lift his leg ready to be scooped. When you picked him up he would rub his little face all over yours. With Jordan he would even pet his face back.

Diesel was the best gift we have ever gotten. He was a christmas gift from my brother and his family. He made us a family. He had a huge personality, was super smart and loved his toys. So much that he thought all toys were his, no matter who actually owned them. He acted like a grumpy old man when it came to protecting his house, barking at anything that moved but a sweet and caring giant lap dog with his mom and dad. Giving lots of kisses and cuddles. He was also quite the escape artist, even trying to free his brother Zeus from the kennel or chewing through his leash to try and let him free. He was a loving and gentle boy who stole many hearts but the one he stole the most was his moms heart. It was love at first sight and their bond became inseparable. He loved playing with his toys with his dad and rough housing but he was moms boy without a doubt. Everywhere she went, he went. The tragic day we lost Diesel his momma thought her heart would literally break in 2! He will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts! Until we meet again sweet D we love you more than words can describe, our angel forever, Diesel <3

I can’t pick one favorite memory of Brody. There’s so many favorite moments we had over almost 16 years together. From the first day we got him, to going on many walks, fun car rides sticking his head out the window, napping in the sunny sections on the carpet to spending summer days in Nana’s garden lying in the sun. He would always greet me when I got home; so much excitement from both of us to see each other. That is probably my favorite memory.

He truly lived a long, happy pampered life of hardly ever being alone, three beds around the house, always on our beds/couch & ate chicken & rice daily like a king on the couch or in his favorite bed. The most amazing unconditional love. He will be missed & loved forever.

There are so many memories with our boy Thor, but I think my favourite is the day we brought him home. Thor was the runt of the litter and was without a home right before Christmas. I convinced his dad that we should get him, and that’s exactly what we did. We drove to Placentia to pick him up, and he was the tiniest, sweetest little boxer pup I ever did see. He used to spend a lot of time in my sweaters or jackets until he got too big to fit, then he would just sit in your lap even when he grew to be 75lbs. I used to call him my little tea cup boxer because he was smaller than most, but he quickly made up for it. When our daughter was born he was only 2, and he instantly fell in love with her. He was her shadow everywhere I went with her, then as she learned to move on her own there he was not far behind her. He was the best fur friend to all our children, but she definitely stole an extra bit of his boxer heart.
We miss our best friend so much, and it’s going to be a tough Christmas without him.
We love you so much Thor, until we meet again my boy.

Walking off leash and watching Daisy’s endless curiosity will always be the most precious of times. She would collect “sticks” the whole way and take it personally when she couldn’t take every tree branch home. Some of her happiest moments were when she was free to be wild and destructive, but she was also kindhearted and warm. The best part about taking her for a nice long walk were the endless cuddles that followed. Goodbye my sweet girl.

There are so many memories over the last 13 years that it’s hard to narrow down. After Mya had her teeth removed in 2022 she became like a little puppy again. As much as a dog can smile, I think she did. She was brighter, more playful, and just so happy. She still played and brought toys to us right up until her last few days. She never lost her playful ways as she got older, playtime just got shorter or more spaced apart.
One thing we’ll always remember is how everything seemed to get stuck on her little nose. She was adorable with snowflakes, or told on herself with stuck crumbs she found in the kitchen.
She’ll be missed everyday.
