Finn

We were lucky to have Finn for 8 years. We wanted to foster cats with the SPCA and so we were given Finn as he prepared for and went through dental surgery. When the time came to put him up for adoption, I burst into tears and we officially “foster failed”. Finn was quiet and gentle. He was loving and patient. He couldn’t eat or go to the litter without giving himself a dirty nose. He used to wait at the stairs to race us to bed, where he would stay curled up next to Evan for the night. Finn loved having his cheeks scratched and purred so quietly you could hardly hear it. He loved going outside, occasionally lunging at the crows. I’d walk him up and down the street and he would roll around on the concrete and eat the grass. He barely had any teeth and one little snaggle would always stick out of his mouth. He was so tiny, “two tissues”. Finn wrapped himself around our hearts in such a special and beautiful way. I miss him so very much and wish I could hold him and kiss his sweet face again. I’m so heartbroken that he was so sick at the end of his life but I am so grateful for exceptional and compassionate care from Dr. Tuff and everyone at Torbay Road Animal Hospital. Thank you for being our beautiful boy, Finn, we will miss you forever.
